Join us for a Heartwarming and EMPOWERING workshop hosted by Wendy, a Breast Cancer survivor (diagnosed October 2022) who is passionate about supporting women in their journey.
This 3-hour event is designed to foster connection, self-care, and community while making a positive impact on those affected by Breast Cancer.
What to Expect:
Opening Heart Circle: Begin in a nurturing space to connect with others, set intentions, and explore the healing power of mindfulness through sense and body awareness.
Creative Expression: Design your own unique ceramic booby mug, a tangible reminder of self-love and resilience.
Floral Art: Create a beautiful, preserved flower posy to symbolise growth, hope, and the delicate beauty of life.
Community and Support: Connect with like-minded women and share experiences in a supportive and uplifting environment.

About Wendy
Wendy is the Founder of Holistically Me. A Holistic Practitioner, Wellbeing Mentor and Mind Body Specialist who established Holistically Me earlier this year, with the opening of the Restorative Studio, where she teaches Mind Body classes to manage stress and learn the art of Mindfulness, Meditation & Movement.
Wendy was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Multifocal ER/PR positive Breast Cancer in October 2022. Working full-time in a high-pressure Corporate Leadership role as well as a single parent to 2 teenagers, Wendy experienced head on the physical, mental and emotional effects of a cancer diagnosis in her mid-40’s. During her treatment, Wendy counselled other women who were diagnosed with Breast Cancer, using her unique experience and understanding of her own journey and using her tools and knowledge to help build strength and inner peace.
Wendy’s mission is to raise awareness and support women who are diagnosed with breast cancer in their 40’s and early 50’s who are juggling life with work, family and relationships.
Special Guests
Felicity from Felicity J Aitken – Designer, Creative, Teacher. Felicity is an innovative designer, creative and teacher and as a qualified Florist, is inspired by the Australian landscape. Felicity has a passion for immersive creative expression which she infuses into all her workshops, products and designs using her background in fashion, fitness and floristry. She uses the amazing power of the creative arts to create beautiful botanical designs which not only bring to life a story but create memories.
She hosts a variety of hands-on workshops both locally and in QLD, where she provides a safe space for individuals to unlock their own creative style using colour, textures and more. She has a love for supporting people to be their beautiful unique selves and sharing her own journey.
Amanda is a Ceramic Artist who has been taking her craft more seriously over the past five years after she took a step back from her career in nursing while raising a family. She has been developing her own unique style which she draws inspiration from the ocean and the human form. The ability to create and express using the medium of clay has been hugely therapeutic for her while she navigates the highs and lows of modern-day motherhood. The immersive nature of working with clay helps her to physically engage with the object she is making. Moulding the clay with her hands and seeing the magic as the form grows shape, brings her great joy and a sense of achievement while supporting her own mental health journey.
